8th September 2012 - The Achill ROAR adventure race kicked off at 10.00 am with the expert wave 1 heading from keel strand toward the lagoon for the Swimming/Kayaking section beofre heading towards cloud covered mountain.

Winners on the day in the Expert race were Tim O Donaghue and Marie Boyle who have both now assured themselves of National Series victory and in the sport joint winners were Kieran Cosgrove, and Jerry O Sullivan and Colette Sweeney in the ladies.
