12/13th Nov. 2011 - The Moonlight Challenge in aid for the building fund for the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue team's new rescue base was held on the 12th of November 2011. There were over 400 participants who covered the 26km hike along the Wicklow Way mostly as part of a team, although some challengers opted to run the route.
The route started at the Crone wood car park and finished up at with hot soup at the new base in Trooperstown near Laragh.
