The West Wicklow Roar Adventure race - 28th May
Updated on 29nd May,2011 The 2nd running of the West Wicklow Roar Adventure race was held on Saturday 28nd of May 2011. The course which involved Road Biking, Off-Road Running and Kayaking started and finished in the grounds of the Tulfarris Hotel at the south end of the Blessington Lakes and took in the surrounding hills and lakes.

The Howth Aquathon race 1 - 23st May
Updated on 24nd May,2011 Neither the galeforce winds or president Obama's appearance in college deterred the 96 competitors who turn out for the first Howth Aquathon of 2011. 38 completed the short course with 56 on the long course. The rain held off so it was left to the wind to batter the runners and whip up the water to create that extra element to the race.

The DARE - Dublin Adventure Race - 21st May 2011
Updated on 22nd May,2011 With teams of two or three and solo competitors, the race kicked off at The Adventure Weekend at the RDS, Dublin 4 with a bike section, which took the competitors along beaches, canal paths and into parks with a tricky assault course to master along the way. Competitors then took to kayaks in Grand Canal basin before changing to their runners to complete a "street orienteering" section where they could pick up points for every checkpoint reached.
Some checkpoints included challenges, some checkpoints were in iconic Dublin locations and some required you to use your brain rather than your brawn to find them! Then it was back to the water for the "secret challenge" before some more biking and the awesome Abseil from Dublin's most impressive building! And so back to the RDS to complete an epic day of urban adventure.
Action photography was on hand at the Aviva stadium to capture the fear and excitement of the Abseil, and yes, we did it ourselves as well!

Updated on 07th March 2011 - The 3nd Run-a-muck challenge was held in the grounds of Clonkeeran House, near Johnstown Bridge, Co Kildare. The Runamuck Challenge is a cross country running event over a wet and mucky course with various man made and natural obstacles including bale "jumps", net scrambles, tarzan swings, rope bridges, ditches, streams, tyres and tunnels designed to test both mental and physical strength.

The Operation Transformation 5k Fun Run - February 2011
Updated on 21th Feb. 2011 - The Operation Transformation 5k Fun Run took place in the Phoenix Park on Saturday the 19th of February. 5,000 people turned out to run, jog and walk around the course in glorious sunshine.

Art O'Neil Challenge - Jan 2011
Updated on 09th Jan. 2011 - The Art O Neill Challenge took place on Friday and Saturday 07/08th Jan.2011.
500 hardy souls signed up for the 2011 challenge and left Dublin castle on Friday night in two groups, the walkers at midnight and those running all or part of the way at 2.00am.

Jewellery Box - Book launch and exhibition opening - November 2010
Updated on 12th Nov. 2010 - Daragh Muldowney of Dulra photography launched his new book "Jewellery Box - Irelands Hidden Gems" and an exhibition of the images for the book at the Back loft gallery - Cathedral Studios, in Dublin's Liberties.

The Athlone 3/4 Marathon - October 2010
Updated on 04rd Oct. 2010 - The Athlone 3/4 Marathon was held on a Certified Course of 19.664 miles / 31.646 km starting and finishing at the Glasson Hotel & Golf Club(www.glassongolfhotel.ie) near the village of Glasson, just outside Athlone. The Achill ROAR, 11th Sept. 2010
11th Sept. 2010 - The Second Achill ROAR Adventure Race took place on Saturday 11th of September with 700 competitors taking part in the sport and expert races. Both races involved an open water swim or Kayak, a beach and mountain run followed by a road cycle all on and around Achill Island, Co. Mayo. The weather was a major factor in the outcome of the races with high wind, showers and sunshine alternating through the day.

05th Sept. 2010 - The Escape From Ireland swim 2010 held on Sunday 05th of September 2010 from Ireland's eye to Howth.

The Strawberry Half Marathon, Enniscorthy
27th June 2010 - The Strawberry Half Marathon held on Sunday 27nd of June 2010 in association with Slaney Olympic AC. As part of the Enniscorthy 1500 Year Celebrations, the race started and finished in the center of Enniscorthy and covered a course taking in the surrounding countryside.
